The Market

The third stage of our business is the sales and distribution of the prepared fresh leafy green salads. We have a separate warehouse facility located 30 minutes from the farm, in the South Australian Produce Markets, Pooraka. Our warehouse is amongst a hub where all local produce is wholesaled to local distributors of fresh produce.

This aspect of the business involves a team of staff, consisting of forklift drivers, salespeople, administration and marketing that predominantly operate during the early hours of the morning. This sector takes care of the on sellers involved in retail and hospitality, ensuring produce is received to the consumers at its absolute freshness.

It is a lively hub where colourful proprietors make this setting a boisterous platform, where all local growers congregate to tap into all possible buyers for their fresh produce.

Our warehouse is a specifically built refrigerated area that ensures stock is maintained at optimum storage, even whilst on the sales floor. Always supporting food safety standards by maintaining cold chain supply, a critical control for highly perishable products such as leafy greens.

Our business has an advantageous offering to consumers, by being able to ensure less than 14 hours turnaround for Paddock to Plate freshness.
