Rocket is an ancient plant, originating from the wild in most Mediterranean countries. Rocket’s distinctive taste is peppery and nutty and has been described as Smokey.

Our dry warm growing environment causes Rainbow Fresh Rocket to become very strong, even bitter in flavour making Rainbow Fresh Rocket as unique as South Australia’s climate and has been likened to the Mediterranean’s.

The flavours become muted when Rocket is cooked, but its richness and depth when eaten raw are unlike any other green.

Rainbow Fresh Wild Rocket is a tasty peppery leafy green, popular served in salads, added to a pasta dish, makes a perfect pesto and adds a fresh component to cheese or grazing platters

This product is washed dried and packed fresh.

Recommended to rinse before use.

Keep refrigerated at 1-4 degrees Celsius.
